A letter to many elected officials
"I write to you in regards to the proposed Promenade plans for Spring Grove land sale in the Catonsville area. I am very much against any such selling of the Spring Grove land for commercial use. The impact of selling this land and the development of office buildings, a Target, grocery stores, condos, etc. would be devastating to our community. The developer wants to "give an urban feel" to the Catonsville area. The fact that there isn't an "urban feel" and that it is a feeling of an old, historic, quaint community is what draws people to live in this area. The negative impact it would have on our community would be that it would drastically increase traffic in the area and the cutting down of trees and building would increase our carbon imprint.
Please consider my concern for MY COMMUNITY and vote against the building of the Catonsville Promenade.
Thank you for your support!"
